Worship in Spirit and Truth

with 2 comments

Many words are spoken regarding how to worship God Most High.  They prescribe all manner of means to achieve God’s blessings.  Yet He has prescribed One way to enter His will.  God has spoken Jesus.  It is He who saves.  What has this Spoken Word, Jesus, said regarding the means of salvation and service to the Most High God?   “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.   God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23,24)

Don’t allow yourself to be caught up in all the foolishness people profess regarding how to worship God.  Seek His Glorious face in truth.  Humble yourself before His Mighty Presence.  Seek His favor, that He might show you the way.  It is God who saves.  All man can do is point to Him.  There is salvation only in Jesus, the Christ of God!  Do not rely on man’s means.

By His Grace.

  1. You have reminded me that I was able to share this at school this week. I don’t remember how it came up but in response to something one of the kids said I was able to respond, “If you are a Christian you believe that God is spirit, because that is what the Bible says.” I may get in trouble some day but we always need to look for ways to share the truth about God.

    • We serve the Living God as He allows. I will see you in heaven, and we will dance with Joy! Take heart. Trouble is bound to come to those who stand for the Glorious Lord of Life. And He will not forget our service. Do not be dismayed at the wicked who band together to tear at His people. But rejoice at the glorious privilage of serving the Most High God.

      By His Grace.
